F3, inc is seeking Project Managers to join their team.
Conducts environmental site assessments (ESAs) and/or property condition assessments (PCAs). Monitors construction projects and performs other assessment services.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Interviews property contacts, municipal agencies, vendors and other persons familiar with the subject property to gather information relevant to completion of ESA, PCA or client specific scope of work. Independently researches municipal records, local, state and federal resources and files relevant to the subject property. Conducts walk-through surveys to assess condition of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, structure and foundations, interiors, common areas, exterior walls, windows, roofs, and site work improvements. Gathers and analyzes samples needed to identify issues which may require remediation. Prepares written reports summarizing findings, explaining and quantifying effects and proposing recommendations. Prepares estimated costs to remedy building deficiencies. Addresses client questions and comments regarding the report. Markets to potential and existing clients. Performs other duties as assigned.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors Degree from four-year college or university with major in engineering, geology or science required. Minimum of 3 years experience completing or managing PCAs, Phase I ESAs or in engineering consulting.
Experience as an asbestos, lead-based paint, radon or mold inspector/project manager or general contractor preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES:
CEP (Certified Environmental Professional) designation required. Licensed Professional Engineer, Professional Geologist or Registered Architect a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills in order to assess impact of property condition. Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
OTHER SKILLS And ABILITIES:
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office. Familiar with the basic principles of civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering, including construction and maintenance of structures and systems; the Americans with Disabilities Act; Fair Housing Act.
