Mental Health Specialist are mental health professionals who are based in school districts.  They serve as a liaison between children/families and schools, and provide a wide range of services, depending on the needs and expectations of each individual school district and school.  A few of their job responsibilities include providing parenting education, therapeutic interventions, skill building, and case management.  They are also an information resource for mental health issues.  Compensation is a base pay between $30,000 and $35,000 per year.  Other compensations include: Travel, Incentive Pay, Generous 401(k) and Benefits Package.  Job requirements:

• Graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field
• Minimum of one year applicable experience
