The Lincoln County Health Department will hold a Temporary Food Handling Safety Class on Thursday, March 18, 2010. The course will be held in the Community Room at the South Entrance of the Health Department, located at #5 Health Department Drive in Troy. The class will begin promptly at 6:15 p.m. Classes normally last about 2 1/2 hours.
The course will focus on proper food preparation and sanitation procedures, as well as permit requirements for temporary food events held in Lincoln County. All participants will take a test at the end of the class for certification on safe food handling.

The walk/run begins at 8:30 am and begins at the Troy City Park by the skate park located on South Lincoln Drive. Registration begins at 8 am. Pre-registration is preferred to guarantee a t-shirt.
Cost to enter is $10.00 and a donation of canned food items for local food pantries.
In case of rain this event will be held April 3, 2010.
