Weather permitting, MoDOT and its contractor, Chester Bross Construction of Hannibal, will begin work to seal coat many routes in Pike, Lincoln and Warren counties on the dates indicated:
June 13-14: Route JJ in Lincoln County from Route W east to MO 79 near Elsberry, 8 Miles
June 15-19: Route B in Lincoln County from US 61 east to MO 79 at Elsberry, 10.2 Miles
June 26-28: Route A in Lincoln and Warren Counties from Route DD in Truxton to Interstate 70 in Warren County, 12.97 Miles
July 2: Route OO in Lincoln County from Route C to the end of State Maintenance near Chain of Rocks, 1.9 miles.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the work zone with flaggers and pilot cars controlling traffic. Signs will be in place to alert motorist fresh oil and loose rock chips may be present at various locations along the roadway. Construction equipment will be entering and exiting the work zones. Some delays should be expected; motorist are urged to use alternate routes during these times. Please use extra caution if you must travel through the work zone areas. All lanes will be open to traffic at the end of each work day. All roadwork is posted on the traveler information map. Those traveling and the commuting public are encourage to check the on-line map at www.modot.org daily for new work zones. It's been said all over American that the moral fabric has been ripped apart. Let us come together as one and start sewing the Christian moral fabric back together.
