Weather permitting, MoDOT and its contractor, Chester Bross Construction of Hannibal, will begin work to seal coat many routes in Pike, Lincoln and Warren counties on the dates indicated:
June 13-14: Route JJ in Lincoln County from Route W east to MO 79 near Elsberry, 8 Miles
June 15-19: Route B in Lincoln County from US 61 east to MO 79 at Elsberry, 10.2 Miles
June 26-28: Route A in Lincoln and Warren Counties from Route DD in Truxton to Interstate 70 in Warren County, 12.97 Miles
July 2: Route OO in Lincoln County from Route C to the end of State Maintenance near Chain of Rocks, 1.9 miles.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the work zone with flaggers and pilot cars controlling traffic. Signs will be in place to alert motorist fresh oil and loose rock chips may be present at various locations along the roadway. Construction equipment will be entering and exiting the work zones. Some delays should be expected; motorist are urged to use alternate routes during these times. Please use extra caution if you must travel through the work zone areas. All lanes will be open to traffic at the end of each work day. All roadwork is posted on the traveler information map. Those traveling and the commuting public are encourage to check the on-line map at www.modot.org daily for new work zones. The Bread For Life Food Pantry is located at 102 South Lincoln Drive in Troy. The pantry is open every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. except for the last Wednesday of each month when the hours are 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The phone number is 636-528-3646.
The Bread For Life Food Panty is an all volunteer organization. The pantry depends upon the community to donate food and money to assure food is available for those in need. In addition, grant funding is sought to help provide food and personal care items. The pantry serves any family in Lincoln County who falls at or below the federal poverty guidelines. The pantry reserves the right to serve a family who may be above the poverty line but, experiencing hard times due to family crisis or natural disaster. Family may visit the pantry once per month. There is no discrimination against any person for any reason. Clients need not be associated with a church or the Greater Troy Ministerial Alliance.
