Career Planning and Admission Workshops at Pike-Lincoln Technical Center are scheduled for April 12 - at 1 p.m. at Pike-Lincoln Technical Center on the Clopton School Campus and Saturday, April 14 at 10 a.m. at the Transportation building in Eolia. (Clopton School is located on Hwy WW four miles from Hwy 61)
The workshop will take about 2-hours to complete. These workshops are for persons interested in learning more about themselves as related to possible careers and required for those who may want to enroll in daytime classes. The workshop is designed to provide applicants with information about their career interests and their aptitudes. Assistance will be given to those making career choices. Different types of financial aid available for assisting students with educational cost will be discussed during the workshop.
Classes are available in: Administrative Business Technology, Diesel Mechanics, Digital Design, Computers & Networking Technology, Auto Services, Auto Collision, Paramedic, Practical Nursing (for the 2013-2014 school year) and Welding.
Future workshops of this nature will be held monthly on the second Thursday and Saturday of each month.
