The Lincoln County Friends of the Library (LCFL) are sponsoring a station for the Sporting Clay Shoot on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the Blackhawk Valley Hunting Club at 1259 Brevator Road in Old Monroe. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the last team will be out by noon. There will be 14 stations with 56 targets and a four-man scramble with the best shooter out of four. All skill levels are welcome. Participants can pay $50 per person or $200 per team. There will be side games afterwards, along with prizes and raffles. Lunch is provided. You can show your support for this event by sponsoring a station for $50. The proceeds of the event will support the future promotion of the library effort.
